Professional Consultation to Revise a Competitive Proposal
This incentive is to assist faculty planning to revise and resubmit a favorably reviewed, but unfunded, proposal to a highly competitive federal agency program (e.g., NIH, USDA/NRICGP, NSF). Faculty may apply for individual, on-site consultation from members of Grant Writers' Seminars and Workshops to assist in the proposal revision process. Awardees must agree to resubmit the proposal, incorporating suggestions of the consultants, for the first deadline following consultation. Submission dates are announced periodically.
Multi-state Consortium on Animal Waste
In 1997, the agricultural research leadership at Iowa State University, Michigan State University, University of Missouri, North Carolina State University, Oklahoma State University, and Purdue University established a Consortium among the institutions for the purpose of encouraging and supporting collaborative projects in animal waste management. - IAHEES Graduate Research Assistantships for Minority Students
Students must be working with College of Agriculture faculty members or Station projects. The Program matches 1/4-time assistantships provided by departments. Further information is available at rskanwar@iastate.edu.- 8-Week Summer Research Internships for Undergradate US-born Minority Students.
Interns will be matched with faculty mentors based on interns' interests and faculty research topics. Details are available at nina1@iastate.edu, or 23 Curtiss Hall. Faculty applications are due at the end of February annually.
